Happy new year IDers! Sad news: ID won't start again until Monday 8th February. Gutting, we know, but that's the way of the world. We hope you're looking forward to coming back to play your favourite games and learn a wee bit about Jesus. We've got an action packed term planned. And if you don't like action, we'll have the tuck shop!

Not been to ID before? Don't worry, if you're in S1, S2, S3 or S4 we'd love to see you. Meet us at Holy Trinity Church Hall on Queen's Terrace at 7:45 and if you want you can bring your mates. The more the merrier!

The next event in the interdenominational "Meet the Christian" series will be on Tuesday, 19th January, at 7.30pm, in the Garden Suite of the Scores Hotel. The speaker is Julie Chrystal, a school teacher in West Fife, and among other things she will explore what it means to be a Christian witness in the secular workplace.

ADVANCE NOTICE The next James Gregory lecture in science and religion will be given by Revd Dr David Wilkinson of Durham, at 5.15pm on Thursday, 18 February, in the Younger Hall, North Street. The title is "God and the Big Bang". More information nearer the time
